QUARTERS ARCADE BAR IN SLC — Salt Lake Days | Highlighting the Best of Salt Lake City

Start saving your loose change and bring it to Quarters Arcade Bar for some classic arcade games and a whole lot of fun. Perfect for an easy-going night out, Quarters Arcade Bar has two locations in Salt Lake City, dozens of arcade games, and live entertainment to keep the party going all night long.

With one location downtown, and the other in Sugar House, Quarters Arcade Bar is easily accessible from all over SLC. Stop Downtown any time from 4pm, and stay until the wee hours when they close at 2am. Their Sugar House location closes on Sunday and Monday, but keeps pinballs flying and games going until 2am every other day of the week.

Cocktail bartenders Michael Eccleston and Katy Willis were inspired to open an arcade bar in Salt Lake City after visiting Coin Op arcade bar in San Diego.

The Downtown location is hosted in the basement of the historic New Grand Hotel, built with exactly the right kind of character for a place like Quarters.

Case in point?

Look for two giant bison heads and a red and white neon sign and you’ll know you’re in the right place.

Don’t worry about reservations (they don’t take them!), if you arrive by 7pm you’re pretty sure to get a table. They offer counter-service beverages at both locations. The Downtown location doesn’t have an on-site kitchen, BUT they do allow outside food!

So, grab a to-go order from neighboring The Pie Hole, Apollo Burger, or Maxwell’s, and settle in for an evening of beverages and good-natured competition. Want to order food on-site? Head to the Sugarhouse location that offers full kitchen service with a menu of sandwiches and tetris-shaped tater tots… obviously.

While Quarters Arcade Bar is a good bet for any casual get-together where friends can come and go as they please, they also offer the rental of a private room. The “Hat” can be rented inside Quarters, and comes with your own full bar and private craft cocktail bartender.

But wait… the fun doesn’t stop with skeeball… they also offer live music almost every night of the week. Gather your friends, grab a table, and order your favorite cocktail as you rock out to live music and entertainment… with a side of good ol’ competition.
